I’m a life-long resident of the Kansas City metro area. Born in Kansas City, KS I studied Broadcast Communications at the University of Missouri-Kasnas City and proceeded to work in the fast, changing environment of radio and television. My career began in 1993 at a small building with two radio stations. I sharpened my news, traffic, sports, play-by-play producing, production and writing skills in the first ten years of my career. In 2002 I went from radio to Fox 4 flying in an office 1500 hundred feet in the air aboard SKYFOX. In 2008, I moved to the anchor desk with Fox 4 News at 9 and at Noon. I’m an advocate for mental health first aid, suicide prevention and spreading awareness that there is help, hope and camaraderie. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my wife and son, playing golf and volunteering in the community. In 2016, I was proud to accept a position on the board of Team Fidelis.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the provision of counseling services and, many more years of life experience, I have a great deal of information about how to do it wrong and how to do it right. It has been my great pleasure to work with thousands of veterans who have helped me to understand how to live life more fully. To them I owe a debt of gratitude.

I’ve been in broadcasting, advertising and marketing my entire career, with companies such as Westwood One Radio Network and as a professional marketing consultant. I understand what it takes to build the brand and spread the word. The opportunity to do so for Team Fidelis is humbling. My father, Lieutenant J.G. Frank Robert Schultheis, Jr. was so proud of serving in the Navy in World War II. In fact, he would say it was the most important thing he ever did in his life, defending our country. I wake up every day happy and free because of our veterans and it’s an honor to join Team Fidelis to do anything I can to give back.
